Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website agileenglish.tech (the "Site") and any English-coaching services provided by AgileEnglish.tech ("we", "us", "our") — a sole-trader business based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. By using the Site or engaging our services you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

AgileEnglish.tech is operated as a UK-based sole trader providing technical English coaching to engineers and IT professionals worldwide. You can reach us at john@agileenglish.tech.

2. Use of the Site

You may browse the Site for personal and professional informational purposes. You agree not to:

• use the Site or coaching service for unlawful activity, fraud or spam;
• infringe another person's intellectual property rights;
• introduce malware or probe or interfere with the security of the Site;
• submit false or misleading information through the assessment form;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or backend systems;
• scrape, copy or republish the Site's content without permission.

3. Assessment submissions

Submitting the assessment form is a request for us to contact you about coaching services. It does not create a contract or oblige either party to proceed. We aim to respond within 24 business hours but do not guarantee a specific response time.

4. Coaching services

We provide one-to-one technical English coaching. Our standard rate is £60 per session. You may book more or fewer sessions to suit your needs; 12 sessions is an example, not a minimum commitment. Any custom total, scope, schedule and arrangements for rescheduling sessions will be agreed in writing before you pay. See our pricing page.

Payments and billing

You contract with AgileEnglish.tech for the coaching service. Payments are one-off purchases through private payment links, not subscriptions. There is no automatic renewal or recurring charge. Your link shows the agreed coaching description and total in pounds sterling (GBP) before you confirm payment, and payment is due before the sessions start. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your full card details. You will receive an email receipt after payment.

Refund requests and cancellations are covered by our Refund Policy. Session rescheduling arrangements do not override your statutory rights.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to the Site or coaching service for a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious misuse. Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue; urgent security or safety concerns may require immediate action. Any treatment of unused paid sessions remains subject to our Refund Policy and your statutory rights.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, layout and code — is owned by AgileEnglish.tech or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we take reasonable care to keep the Site available and accurate, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgileEnglish.tech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
